So on a search to find a bread substitute that both my boys and I can enjoy is a task. I really want something that I can get local and not have to venture out over an hour to get at a Whole Foods (though I do love going there with two under two its a challenge). After some research I did find this company Rudi's that makes organic and gluten-free bread products. It indicates on there site that they sell them at Stop & Shop as well as Shaw's. I will make an effort to check the validity of the site. I look forward to tasting it and of course giving the final taste test to Gavin since that boy will eat anything. I will keep you updated!!! For now check out there site below by clicking on their logo...if you have tried it please post what you think :)

pancake fruit muffins
The hardest part for me is not eating bread products! I have searched and searched for anything that is dairy and soy free...so sad that I cannot find anything to satisfy my cravings. I know if I take a trip to Whole Foods I may be in luck but I am home and need something now!!!
I searched my cabinets and my husband noticed that Log Cabin Pancake mix does not have dairy or soy...YAY. I used almond milk instead of the called for 2/3 cups of cows milk and threw it in some muffin cups with strawberries on the top. Baked it on 350 degrees for 20 minutes and now I have a yummy treat for myself and the big boy in my life Gavin Alan (he is also dairy sensitive). Other things to top with are bananas and walnuts. I would really like to include some chocolate chips but I am still searching for ones without dairy or soy ;) I'll keep you posted!!!

why are you feeding free?
On September 20, 2012 I gave birth to an amazing little man named Brycen John. Upon exiting my warm and cozy body Brycen has decided that he does not like dairy or soy products at all! Actually he detests them and so does his growing body. So now I am on the quest to find foods I can eat and snack on that will support my taste buds and encourage my son to grow. This includes things that help my milk supply. Alas, I am such a fan of you bagels and cream cheese....don't let me forget chips and twizzlers. Sighs!!! Well join me in my search...maybe you will find something you love :)
